This should serve as a full reference for what works (and ultimately what doesn't) in both emu's. It can also be used as a starting point for new features etc.

I've made the last of NJ's trio of awesome emulators wifi enabled, now giving us Neogeo (MVS) CPS2 and CPS1 all playable over wireless between two psps.
I want to make some more changes before I release the set. At the moment, everything is set up to ONLY play in wifi mode, but I will make some changes to the main menu and put wifi in as an option.
The new releases will have the fixes and wifi all in one, effectively superseding the "final" releases by NJ. I will try to contact him this week for his blessing.
Just made a bit of a cleanup to the interface of MVSPSPwifi, making it a lot more clean and friendly. I must say that NJ has done an incredible job with his emulators and they are a pleasure to work with.
Just been playing 2 player league bowling, and it is awesome.
So now I'm going to try and add wifi support to CPS2... stay tuned
Just a quick update for you folks out there in emuland
I've been working on the wifi multiplayer in MVSPSP 1.0 (Neogeo Emulator by NJ) and have made some excellent progress.
The game now syncs up every time (previous approximately 1 out of 4 times would fail)
I've tested it on puzzle bobble and it works lovely in two player vs mode. I made a video to upload to youtube, but I thought no, I can do better than that. So.. I made a video of Metal Slug 1 two player instead!
My apologies for the video quality, my phone is crap and the focus is terrible.
Having spent some time playing on MVSPSP, I was getting increasingly annoyed at the memory card options flashing up on screen all the time.
Please do NOT contact NJ for any support issues regarding this build
The memory card support in MVSPSP 1.0 was mandatory, so I have
made a small modification allowing the user to enable or disable the memory card.
For those of you who wish to save their virtual memory cards, you should create a dir called MEMCARD in your PSP/GAME/MVSPSP directory, which the emulator will store your memorycards if you so wish. (This was in the original emulator but undocumented).
I've taken the source from NJ's page and created a 1.0 binary release.
Please do NOT contact NJ about this unofficial release. I have no idea what is different between this and version .22, I do know it works, that is all.
Let me know how you get along with it. I've only tried the smallest of roms so far as I don't own any neogeo arcade boards (Andro Dunos).
I've been looking for a little ebook/text file viewer for the DS, for use in the same way as the Brain Age game works, so I've put a little something together, and this is where I'm at.
Currently it is programmed to read a book that is hardcoded into the nds file, but by later tonight it will be reading .txt files straight off a memory card in the GBA slot!
With the upcoming modchip for the PSP i am going to offer a fitting service for those in the UK (overseas people sadly the shipping will cost too much).
Also As far as I can tell I will be able to fix bricked psps.
So, can I have a list of eople who would like to make use of my services? The chips are £50 (aparently), I will only charge a nomial fee for fitting and return delivery - about £25 or so.
For the bricked PSPs, the plan is to restore 1.5firmware, the cost of this will depend on how succesful I am.
Please let me know if you would like to make use of this service! First come first serve. I do expect there to be quite a few people not brave enough to tackle the psp with a soldering iron by themselves!
Just a little update to let you know what I'm up to. I've been bitten by the "NEW" super mario bros bug on the DS, so that has been taking a lot of time lately (ooops) and of course working hard at my normal day job has left me feeling a bit worn out in the evenings.
I've read al of your feedback on the forums, and it looks like I've made at least a few of you happy! Can't guarantee to add all of the features/games that you want, but I'll try dammit!
Next release is going to add at least 10 new games. Donkey Kong will be one of them..
Thanks to everybody who helped me with my typingwand site so far! Sadly not one person has donated to the MAMEPSP fund yet via paypal - which I'd like to use to put to wards another PSP solely for devving.
LogiqX has kindly created a dat file for use with rom managers (clrmamepro/romcenter), which I have upload to the forum, so if that kind of thing is useful to you, enjoy
Massive thanks to everybody for the feedback so far. Keep using my site to search for ebay goodies (and digg it where possible) and tell everybody!
I'm looking for people to help me translate into french, spanish, italian and other languages. Also I'm looking for a nice logo and possibly a website (this one) design. Anybody out there interested?
Alternatively (and maybe also ) please visit http://www.typingwand.com
and use the search engine to find yerself some ebay bargains. Each person who
bids using my site will put a few pence my way and that will help me out
(and will not cost you anything!

This version of mame has issues where the ram may not be freed correctly but
this will be fixed in future versions.
Source code avaiable on request and will be uploaded as a seperate archive
to the forums at http://dxdev.dcemu.co.uk
Happy gaming!

And you, for downloading and using this program!
I've not spent much time on MAME-PSP recently, and it seems it has shown! MAME4ALL has been ported to the PSP; something I probably should have looked into myself.
So what are your thoughts on this, my fellow arcade fans!
I will keep my promise. I will release a BETA of MAME-PSP that runs 30 games near flawlessly very soon, just give me a day or so to clean up a little. It's worth the wait I promise
I thought I'd take 2 minutes from my lunchbreak to let you know what the progress is.
Last night I started recoding the internal engine of mame-psp along with the memory handling. Sadly this broke everything so I propose the following.
I'm going to make a release based on the 30 or so games that work "satisfactory" and then continue my work on the psp specific parts of the port. TMK has done a great job with MAME and I can only hope to improve things.
The 68000 core now compiles and runs correctly, and I successfully ran a neogeo title "League Bowling". Sadly it was less than 40% of the full speed, but it was playable. Maybe once the graphics/memory rewrite has taken place this could improve to 70 or 80% which would then become more realistic for a release title.
Watch this space. MAME-PSP with 30 near perfect games coming soon!
